Look out for the new renault car advert. This is due to be first seen late 2009 on you tube etc and then as part of a TV campaign. The plot for the advert is of a bored office worker who trys to escape the confines of his workplace and has to overcome various obstacles before he can drive of in a Renault Laguna. Pro Mobile disco was asked to supply a mobile disco set up for a office party which was one of these obstacles. To give the creative team a bit more choice we brought with us both modern and retro mobile disco kits. On the day the director went for an 80's mobile disco look complete with light boxes fuzz light and techniques SL1200 turntables. When filming with 'sound on' all dancing is done without music, so although DJ Jim was behind the decks, spinning some classics 80s tracks you could still hear a pin drop.
