Number 1 Music hits of 1980
The top of the charts included pop, rock, ska, mod music, country
and western, and the terribly sentimental. The christmas number
one was from John Lennon who was murdered on 8th December, the year
ended with more bad news as John Lennon was replaced at the top
spot by st Winifreds School choir, sorry ladies but there's no one
quite like grandma makes it in to our worst
tunes of the eighties list.
